  11. I ran this program called PortInfo and at first it said that the 16550 UART 
  12. was actually an emulation chip, E16550. But I thought that the Accura had a 
  13. real 16550 UART in it. But if I ran the program again, it couldn't detect the 
  14. COM port I installed my modem (COM2) on because of a port conflict and the 
  15. UART becomes a 16550A. If I cold booted my computer, the same thing happens 
  16. again, detects COM port and then it can't.  This happens with both my 2400 and 
  17. 28800bps modem. I also removed the modem and put in a high speed serial card 
  18. with a 16550 UART and PortInfo could detect COM2 more than twice. But I know 
  19. if I try to put in both my serial card and Accura 288B, PortInfo will not 
  20. detect the modem. Any answers to this problem?
